The Hout Bay Stadium Tour offers you first class impressions in a family friendly way. Players from the men’s team and long-time employees of the club will share first-hand information and give you an insight into their lives within the township.
As part of the tour, you will understand quite quickly the role that soccer and the club play for the people of Hout Bay and how important community work can be.
Hout Bay is a beautiful, scenic & culturally diverse community. A true reflection of South Africa, Hout Bay represents not only the racial & cultural diversity, but also the economic divide with rich living alongside poor. Many members of this community carry the scars, guilt & sadness of the apartheid regime, but they also carry the hope, passion & belief in a better future.
We play our home games in the center of Hout Bay. The mountains around us are our stadium, home to all our fans. Our field is one of the few places where all 3 communities come together around a shared passion. 100,000 people behind HBUFC because we’re more than a team and bigger than the game.
HBUFC is the pinnacle of football in Hout Bay and the surrounding Atlantic seaboard. There is a very active local football association and over 30 football clubs. That’s over 3000 children and adults regularly playing
